Welcome to Baan Hollanda
Baan Hollanda is an information centre on the history between Thailand and the Netherlands. It relates the story of how the Dutch came to Ayutthaya, how they traded and how they lived.
Baan Hollanda is situated on the land where once there was a “factory” or trading post of the Dutch United East India Company (Verenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie or VOC), as well as a settlement comprising both Dutch and people of other nations.
The city of Ayutthaya was then one of the largest and busiest emporia in Southeast Asia, filled with people of various ethnic origins, many of whom had come to stay.

Photo Exhibition is officially opened
On Saturday 23rd January 2016, Baan Hollanda organised the official opening ceremony for our first Photo exhibition "Ancient Ayutthaya Heritage Through the Lens", an exhibition by Assistant Professor Nirandorn Tongaroon.
